I bought this bed lift system for my father. He had a surgery and has difficulties to get out of bed because of pains in his back. This product raises him gently to a semi-sitting position where he can painlessly slide out of bed. With the mattress genie, the entire head of the bed is elevated and nobody wakes up with neck pain. You can control the angle/height of head of bed.

The only complaint is the noise of the pump, but it comes only to the inflation but that doesn't detract from the positives of the Lift System.
